Marketer's Ultimate Gift Guide 2025

What to get the marketer in your life?

Howdy, marketer!

You know it’s that time of year. The most wonderful time.

On this list, I wanted to include not just the best desk items, marketing tools, etc, but things that actually improve the life of a marketer (in one way or another).

Christmas Treasure Trove

Here’s the thing, it’s a musical instrument, but can make anyone sound great.

I’m a musician, but instead of taking out my guitar or setting up my synth, it’s incredibly easy to just bring out my Launchpad, plug in, and make fun beats.

(Plus, you can set it so that every button is in the right key, meaning my 8-yr old niece can just mash buttons and create something that wonderful!)

If you’ve been chronically online since the dawn of time (like yours truly), you have much appreciation for all the cool internet-related things.

And you get to read about a new one everyday in the next year.

I bought that for 2025, as of this writing, they haven’t released one for 2026, but I hope they do!

Swedish candy is so hot right now, and what’s a better holiday gift (or self-treat?) than an Advent calendar?

Paper calendars are cute, but the TRMNL connects to your digital calendars and keeps everything visible from your kitchen counter (or wherever).

Scratch your ā€œoddly satisfyingā€ itch but in mind-bending settings. Grab some neon markers and ā€œmake it pop.ā€

I’ve been obsessed with this concept of ā€œflash hobbiesā€ recently.

It’s exactly what it sounds like. Not too difficult, but takes enough focus and practice to master that it’s a challenge.

My recent flash hobby is the Rubik’s Cube. I’ll set it by my bed and solve it every night. Take a mini one and solve it on the train, on the plane, on a boat with a goat…

I get that this one is a bit out there, but I hope us marketers can agree that A24 makes some fantastic movies (and hilarious/bizarre merch to go with them!).

I LOVE having neighbors and being a ā€œgoodā€ neighbor.

I’m the kinda guy to host neighborhood night out, meet new people on my street, and invite them over for brunch.

This firepit is fantastic for sitting around, shooting the breeze, roasting marshmallows, and NOT smelling like smoke for the next three days.

If you didn’t know, I owned and operated a coffee shop before I transitioned into marketing, so I know a thing or two about coffee (I even have a coffee tattoo!)

This Austin TX roaster is one of the best IMO (I haven’t been disappointed with any of them, and beautiful bag art, too!)

I got this gold track suit to wear when the occasion calls for some silliness.

I wore it to the first trade show I attended this year. Afterwards, my CEO DM’ed me a newly published wiki article about ā€œtrade show attireā€ šŸ˜…

Worth it.

Okay, a quick LOL, but honestly, it’s a bizarre product that’s unique and tastes amazing.

Hard to find, but worth a try.

Next week will be back to our regularly scheduled programming!
